You Can Get Anything You Want at Ziepo's Restaurant

It is BBY 3. The Jedi have been eradicated as an order, and all remnants are being hunted down as part of Emperor Palpatine's brutal scourge of threats to his tyrannical control of the Galactic Empire. The Rebel Alliance is scattered, barely a dream in the eyes of its leaders, and small crews, pockets of committed resistance fighters, are banding together to perform daring, often impossible, acts of bravery to strengthen and build the fledging Rebellion.

Davra was careful. She had to be. Not because she was necessarily worried about anything. No. She had a meeting in a few hours and she'd rather not smell like the trash bins behind Ziepo's. 'I'd probably have time to go back and rinse off, but then I would be behind on everything else.'

She gave a curt nod to "employee" waiting by the door. Davra never asked his name. Didn't want it. Didn't want them to know hers either. Bad enough they could pick out her face if they wanted to. There was camouflaging tech that R&D was working on that might need to go for a "test drive" soon.

The biggest positive of the back entrance. It didn't squeak. Didn't make any noise at all really. So the first indication that Davra was approaching was careful footfalls in an echoing, long hallway. It was dim too, so as she emerged from the double doors, Davra's sharper jawline was more pronounced. Not that she cared for the drama of a grand entrance. She preferred to let her wares do the talking and make the drama.

"Everyman.." She gave the same curt nod to the informant or..whoever he was, before looking at the Dug, "Not my first time in Ziepo's alleys. Seems you were here for more than just a debate over quality jizz..". Still, she made sure to stay just close enough to Mr. Everyman so that if this was some elaborate trap, she could be ready. Looking down at the Dug, seemed ka had the same idea.

The nondescript human male leans against the far wall of the storage room, which is cooler than most of the rest of the restaurant but not freezing, and a cursory glance around the room will confirm fresh produce and drinks are stored within. Crossing his arms in a relaxed pose has the additional benefit - were he looking to appear threatening - of showing his blaster and something else, such as a vibroblade, tucked on the opposite side.

He doesn't smile, not to Onkaldo, though when Davra makes her appearance his expression does at least relax. "Everyman," he repeats with a hint of mild amusement. "That is a new one. I might borrow it someday if you're amenable." His voice is mellifluous, his enunciation speaking far more of a noble upbringing rather than the common Coruscanti accent he showed earlier as well as the dusty appearance of an everyday spacer.

Taking a moment, he sizes up first Onkaldo, then Davra, and back again and asks flatly, "In or out?" Without waiting for an answer, he adds, "Zee knows you both, vouches for you both, but this assignment's a bump up in your participation level and requires a few things that seem outside the norm for you, mostly trust and teamwork. I therefore I need to know before I continue whether you're all in or prefer to step away."

Onkaldo snorted, folding kan legs in front of ka. "If I were looking for a debate over quality jizz, I'd go to a place that actually plays jizz."

Onkaldo growled deep in kan throat. "Listen, buddy, I'm not working solo right now by choice. I do trust and teamwork just fine." Ka sized Everyman up, eyes narrowed. "Or are you suggesting I only know how to work with other dugs?" Onkaldo had brought a crew from Malastare, and it seemed like the Rebels had been content to let them operate as a cell without interference because they got shit done fine, but maybe there was something else going on there. And then Zipalba and Nakarga got killed and Onkaldo just kept going.

Davra folded her arms over her chest as she leaned back against one side of the wall near the door. Back to a wall was always better than being out in the open, she knew that. It was a fifty-fifty shot if any ambushing imps would clear to the right or left, so she just had to be ready. This was always the most dangerous part. The meeting - or whatever this was - had begun. If the imps were going to spring a trap, it would either be right now, or when they left. Davra was betting on when they left. She was already scanning the room for monitoring devices, staying quiet until the need arose. It also helped her ignore the Dug's atrocious opinions about jizz.

She shrugged her shoulders, waving one hand freely in the air as if she could care less, "Go right ahead. I have a knack for naming." Davra didn't have to feign indifference to this contact. It was far easier to just not care what happened to other operatives, lest guilt start to sink in when something went wrong. She took note of his mannerisms, the hints of accent indicating this was as much a disguise as if he was wearing a skinweave suit. Who knows, maybe he was.

Davra let out a little huff. Probably not. Rebellion didn't have those kinds of resources to hand out to some low-level meeting like this.

'Interesting'

The dug seemed to have nerve struck by Everyman's comment. 'Black ops crew maybe? wet ops?' Normally those crews ran small, but the dug mentioned currently running solo. "I think Everyman here is talking about me, nerve burner. Though that personality of yours doesn't scream 'teambuilder.'" She looked back at Everyman, "Zee knows to call me if they think I'm the only person who can get the job done. Otherwise I stay in the shadows so I can do my job." Davra's eyes narrowed a bit as she took a better look at the man, then the surroundings. "They also know there's no way I'm stepping away from this. Trust and teamwork can be negotiated."
